Our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are highly capable practitioners; but all of us who have gone on the journey from practitioner to leader have discovered how haphazardly our undergraduate training prepared us for the kinds of situations we have to handle the moment we take on responsibility for other people and for services.  The leadership programs provided by Susan & Ros of Lumos Leadership have been integral to upskilling our leaders over the past 3 years. We’ve had dozens of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians go through the program. It’s given them faith in their decision-making, a common language to use with each other when talking about leadership situations, and the skills needed to grow their leadership further. Ros and Susan have an innate understanding of the way pharmacists and pharmacy technicians think; this has really helped our people to engage and get the most out of the program – this isn’t a generic leadership program, it’s infused with an understanding of the way pharmacists and technicians think, how they make decisions, and how they communicate.
